Magic attack bonus needs to be -64 or lower to always splash, and equipping a tome of fire or skull sceptre will make that more difficult to reach while saving runes. The demonbane spells of the Arceuus spellbook can only be cast on demonic monsters. *7 Each game tick is 0.6s, a magic combat spell takes 5 ticks, so in 1 hour a player can cast ("splash") 1,200 combat spells. Splashing rates by spell Standard Spellbook Lvl The Granite shield can be substituted with Toktz-ket-xil.Any blessed d'hide boots or Ranger boots can be used for a -10 Magic attack bonus.Any d'hide vambraces, blessed d'hide vambraces, or Ranger gloves can be used for a -10 Magic attack bonus.Granite legs can be substituted with Justiciar legguards.Justiciar chestguard can be substituted with Fighter torso.Alternatively, the Granite helm (-9) or the Fighter hat (-7) can be used.Robin hood hat can be substituted with any Crystal helm.This precludes the rune savings of an elemental staff, but achieves -68 Magic attack. The elemental staff can be swapped for a Cursed goblin staff (obtained from Diango in Draynor).Note that elemental staves have a +10 Magic attack bonus.
